Over the past several weeks, Kourtney Kardashian has been taking us down wedding memory lane on Hulu's The Kardashians, providing behind-the-scenes footage of her journey down the aisle. As Brides' editors, we've been watching each episode to see how her fashion-centered celebration came to life, and naturally, the subject of her engagement ring has been a topic of conversation.
As many already know, Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney on October 17, 2021, at a private beachfront in Montecito, California. The couple first announced their engagement when the reality star posted two Instagram photos of her and Travis from the special moment, featuring the caption "forever @travisbarker." She later followed up with several additional photos from that day, many of which showed off her stunning new ring.
Barker gave Kardashian a gorgeous oval-shaped solitaire diamond, set on top of a super thin white gold or platinum (the metal hasn't been confirmed yet) pavé band. The sparkler is estimated to be 12 carats and is reportedly worth $1 million! While we've seen our fair share of celebrity rings, it's the sumptuous simplicity of Kourtney's sparkler that truly draws us in; though the center stone is a jaw-dropping size, the rest of the ring is fairly minimal.
