Kevin McCalister (played by Macaulay Culkin) took New York City by storm in the iconic movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Now, fans of the film can see Manhattan through Kevin’s eyes on their honeymoon. The Plaza Hotel, located right next to Central Park, offers a Home Alone honeymoon package full of amenities, activities, and experiences that rival Kevin’s.

Upon arrival to the hotel, you’ll receive a welcome note with an illustration of the New York City skyline and a backpack, complete with Home Alone motifs, to fuel your exploration. Then, you’ll enjoy a four-hour private limousine ride around Manhattan to visit all of the famous attractions from the movie, such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, and Radio City Music Hall, according to a press release. While marveling at these sights, you’ll also receive a cheese pizza, just like the movie’s protagonist.

Once you return to your room, you’ll get to make your own ice cream sundae from a sundae cart. Choose from 16 flavors and top off your creation with whipped cream, sprinkles, cherries, M&Ms, brownie bits, and chocolate, caramel, and raspberry syrup. Then, make yourself comfortable in an extra large bed (per Kevin’s request in the film).

Although Home Alone 2: Lost in New York takes place during the holidays, you can experience this honeymoon at any time of the year—the hotel offers it year round. That being said, you must book the package at least three days before check-in, according to the press release. The rate of the honeymoon also varies depending on the room type.

There isn't a better time to book this package than now: On December 1, 2023, Culkin received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At the ceremony, the actor was reunited with Catherine O’Hara, who played his mom in the Home Alone movies. During the event, O’Hara delivered a speech, where she praised Culkin’s role in the film. “I know you worked really hard,” she said. “I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do.” After gushing about Culkin's efforts, she joked, “And thank you for including me, your fake mom, who left you home alone, not once but twice, to sure in this happy occasion. I’m so proud of you.”
