Actress Amy Adams reportedly met actor and painter Darren Le Gallo at an acting class in 2001, and began dating him a year later while collaborating on the short film Pennies. The couple became engaged in 2008 and wed seven years (and one daughter) later in a private ceremony near Santa Barbara, California, adding the perfect ending to Adams’s Enchanted love story.

Jessica Chastain, Married at 40

After her long-term relationship with writer-director Ned Benson ended in 2010, actress Jessica Chastain began dating Italian count and Moncler executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in 2012. She officially married into royalty five years later in 2017 at Preposulo’s family's estate in Carbonara, Italy and the couple has welcomed two daughters since.

For actress Cameron Diaz, there was just something about Benji (Madden), whom she wed in 2015 after having been introduced to the Good Charlotte guitarist by her friend Nicole Richie just ten months prior. In 2019, Diaz and Madden became parents when they welcomed daughter Raddix via surrogate. “I think it’s a matter of I just hadn’t met my husband. I had boyfriends before, and there’s a really, really distinct difference between husbands and boyfriends,” the actress revealed during a moderated “In Goop Health” wellness summit panel.

Actress Julianne Moore and director Bart Freundlich met in 1996 when they were both working on the set of The Myth of Fingerprints. After welcoming two children (Caleb Freundlich and Liv Freundlich), the couple wed in August 2003 and the rest is Hollywood history. Actress Mariska Hargitay met fellow actor Peter Hermann on the set of Law & Order: SVU, where Hermann’s been known to play the recurring role of defense attorney Trevor Langan.
